Holly Dewitt, L. Acupuncturist
My path to becoming a facilitator of healing and well-being began with my own healing journey. During my later years as a professional dancer, I suffered from an injury; one that had me crawling off the stage in tears, fear, and defeat. This injury left me in a hopeless state of rehabilitation. In my attempt to heal, I turned to everything I knew in the form of Western medicine. Conventional medicine simply did not yield the results nor the intention my body and mind needed. It was my unfamiliar experience with Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine that shed new light and sprinkled fascination into my life.
My personal experience invited me down the path of self-discovery and opened my heart to the pursuit of helping others. After many years of using my mind and body to create art in the form of dance, I thought I understood what it took to sustain a holistic way of life; prevent injury, use culinary medicine, enhance the immune system, regulate the nervous system, and age without pain. To my surprise and delight, my new journey allowed me to discover what natural healing had the capacity to provide and instilled purpose on how to live an optimal life. I spent many years rediscovering, dissecting, and rebuilding that knowledge into a more holistic and sustainable way of life.
I continue to evolve my intentions to facilitate optimization of the human experience, physically, emotionally, and energetically. With consistency, connection, and purpose, my practice facilitates how to live a healthy and optimal life, naturally. Using an all-encompassing style of treatment and the various modalities of Traditional Chinese Medicine help open the door to vitality.
My mission is to consider the whole body and life experience that presents in front of me, and to work in harmony with the energetic needs of every patient. I focus on individualized care while meeting you where you are. I encourage us to work as a team to develop a sustainable plan of health and invite a level of personal responsibility. Allow yourself to breathe deeply, to feel into the parts of yourself that have been avoided, and tap into the innate healing intelligence that lives within.
