Ashley Martinelli, DACM, LAc
Hi there, my name is Dr Ashley Martinelli, and I am a doctor of acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine. I graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, and earned my undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I’m passionate about treating women’s health including menstrual irregularities, & fertility. I also love treating sleep issues, gut health, anxiety, stress management, and enjoy cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling sessions too.
My interest in holistic medicine stemmed from watching too many loved ones being continually failed by the western medical system and their tendency towards a bandaid fix. I started seeking alternative therapies in the form of herbs and plants; the original medicine provided by our very own planet. Even the practice of acupuncture has stayed consistent for centuries. I believe my life’s purpose is to share this medicine with as many people as possible, helping them to reconnect with their bodies and the earth. During our first treatment we will go over your entire health history to get to the root of any dis-ease in the mind and body, encouraging them to work as one again. By utilizing the five elements, yin/yang theory, and the acupuncture meridians, I will identify any underlying patterns to treat your whole system, not just your symptoms. Along with acupuncture, moxibustion, fire cupping, and gua sha, I almost always incorporate herbal medicine into my treatment plans.

Ashley also worked in Physical Therapy office previously to joining the Elevate Wellness Center team. During her time there, Ashley treated hundreds of patients using orthopedic acupuncture techniques to manage pain, pre & post surgery recovery, and injury recovery management.
