Cupping Massage
Cupping Massage is a combination of traditional hands-on massage and cupping therapy. The session starts with a hands-on massage during which the therapist looks for muscle tension, adhesions, trigger points, or “problem areas”. Once the problem areas have been identified, the therapist will switch to suction cups to glide across muscles while making sure the client is comfortable. There are different cupping techniques and protocols, so every session is completely customized for an individual client. People receive cupping massage for many purposes, including help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, and well-being.
Cupping Therapy
The cups create suction (negative pressure) which allows for the release of rigid soft tissue, excess fluid and toxin drainage, loosens adhesions, lifts connective tissue, and brings more fresh oxygenated blood flow to stagnant skin and muscles. During the session, the therapist is using stationary, flashing, moving, and dynamic cupping techniques.
