Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine based treatments have formed the cornerstone of our service list since we opened Elevate back in 2004.
Fall is the perfect time to optimize your health, and with this in mind, we’re refining our Acupuncture offerings and outlining each provider’s specialties, so that you, our patients, can feel confident choosing the practitioner most suited to your specific needs or health concerns.
Meet our Acupuncturists
Jamie Miller joined us last fall and has quickly became an integral and much-loved part of the Elevate team.
She is passionate about specializing in Functional Dynamic Orthopedic Acupuncture and Emotional Health, since embarking on her own journey with chronic pain management following a traumatic injury. (You can read Jamie’s story here)
Jamie is on a mission to help people live vibrantly in their body, psyche, and spirit “by serving to facilitate a state of freedom from pain and imbalance on all levels.”
Jamie’s 5 years of practice, continued studies in Acupuncture Orthopedics, and 15 years of experience in Pilates and Gyrotonics®, all combine to influence her approach to comprehensive patient treatment in terms of pain and supporting functional movement. She focuses on both structural alignment and the strengthening and lengthening of muscles intrinsic to pain-free posture alongside the development of proper functional movement patterns.
“I use what I have learned about functional ergonomics, myo-fascial holding patterns, core strength and stability, and optimal gait patterns to inform how I approach treatment for each individual body.”
